Earlier this month, my partner Tara and I took a quick trip two hours away from home to check out some spots in Kootenay and Banff National Parks that we had never seen before. Little did I know it was going to be a much-needed break before a very exciting time (I have since had a meeting with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and attended the Rebel News LIVE! conference, whew!).
