I recently had the opportunity to appear on a fantastic new podcast called Bad Canadians. I was thrilled when host Jared Michael reached out, as it had been almost a year since I’d done a podcast. It was a lot of fun to get back into it, especially with such a cool podcast and such an awesome host. I thought it was a great conversation, and it was a nice way to get back into talking—and not just writing—about these topics. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording!
Bad Canadians is an interesting podcast that I will continue following, and I hope you do too. The YouTube description reads:
Join host Jared Michael as he attempts to understand Canada's contrarians. Working Class Roots. Free Speech Lens. Canadian Contrarians.
While the website further explains:
Here at Bad Canadians we will attempt to understand Canada’s contrarians. We believe contrarians are sometimes the only people holding valuable information the rest of society desperately needs.
Jared is an excellent interviewer. He was so easy to talk to, and he had a lot of really great and thought-provoking questions that, even though I’ve discussed this topic a lot, helped explore it in some new and deeper ways. I am so glad he is taking on this project, which I think is a really important one.
And if there is one other episode I would encourage you to check out besides mine, it’s Lisa Bildy’s. Lisa is an incredible lawyer who has taken on some high-profile civil liberty and free speech cases, including that of Amy Hamm. I can’t say enough good things about her, and I had the honor of meeting her at Realty Based Women Unite 2024. On top of being a badass lawyer, she’s a total sweetheart.
Thank you for telling us about this! I just bookmarked it! I'll listen to your podcast after work.
