Why I Wanted to Have a Baby

I was on the fence about writing this post at the end of this month or at the end of the next. Then I realized, with my due date in early November, my baby could very well be here before October is finished! Technically, she is due on November 2nd, but the internet tells me that only about 5% of babies are actually born on their due date. And mine feels somewhat impatient!

(Maybe this is all just me being hopeful—watch me complain about still being pregnant a week into November!)

At any rate, as the weeks tick by and my due date comes closer, I’ve been thinking often about why I wanted to have a baby in the first place.
