My university asks me about my gender and sexual orientation and stores the information on a page I can access. I make a point of changing my responses every few months. It makes me feel empowered.
Yeah, it seems like it's going to be a tough job. Even though things are slowly starting to change, I think few people realize just HOW DEEPLY entrenched it all is, especially in education.
Thank you for this brilliant article. I'm still in shock at how quickly this female-hating mess spread since first appearing in our Lesbian communities in the Seventies. It is so obviously about male supremacy and destroying what little Lesbians and girls and women have gained. And it's also huge business on so many levels. I fear the only thing that will undo it is if people say no en masse. But they are mostly playing stupid. ("I don't want to interfere with anyone's choices.")
I never ever wanted to be a boy since they made my life hell (not to mention torturing animals), but being given an option that would make it safe to love other girls and get male privilege would be tempting.

hahahaha love it!
All of this information becomes more and more disturbing...how and when will we roll this back???
