This is part of the re-writing of our history that I worry about. Many of us Lesbian Feminists never stopped saying our differences with males was biological. Only those who were thinking about this issue on a superficial level argued that male hatred of females were from "socialization" or that females were really no different from males. But unfortunately that has become the story of our Lesbian Feminist history. And that's partly because liberal to right wing fake feminism has more power, money, and therefore media access.

The Lesbian Separatists as well as others I knew in the Seventies never thought of the Lesbian Tide as a "radical feminist magazine." It was liberal at best. There were much better Radical Feminist magazines in the Seventies and later as well.

Thank you so much and for all the work you are doing for us all!

It's very hard now to find out what is true or not, as well as protecting our massive history.

I'll share this here because it's been bothering me and you just used the term (but I'm not singling you out: I know it's the de rigeur phrase): I wish people would say "adult female human" rather than "adult human female". The modifiers "adult" and "female" refer to the object, "human". It makes no sense to put the object of the modifiers in between them.

Would we say, adult shark male, adult shark female? No, we'd say, "Gee, wouldja look at that adult female shark swimming around out there?" Or, better, "Hey, is that an adult female shark, or an adult male shark swimming out there?", since it would be hard to tell from the shore what sex a shark is.
