I find it helps to think of all those dowdy Mrs. Doubtfires as walking boners, which is essentially what they are. Why their wives stick around is beyond my comprehension.
I think they stay for het wife privilege, having their vile man on their arm to show off to family and friends. God forbid they be single or even thought of as Lesbians. There is also the money, home, etc., which these days can be worth millions.
I agree, but do think males have it way easier than girls and women for many reasons, including safety since all females are sexually harassed and most have been assaulted in some form.
But also the humiliation of being forced to wear exposing clothes that the men so want to wear for a thrill was a nightmare growing up. We had to wear skirts or dresses no matter if the temperature was way below zero, and even when I went to USF, to get access to the dining hall. Falling down as a girl meant more exposure and injury. I recently saw a TV documentary about Billie Jean King, who worked so hard for other girls and women to get access to tennis and then was paid far less than the men. Eventually, they were allowed to wear shorts, but for years were forced to wear exposing short skirts that revealed underwear if they moved at all. I'm guessing many girls never went into such sports to avoid such humiliation. (I'm also not happy that the old sexist rules are being reinstated and so many women seem to love it and are policing other women. Meanwhile, girls end up think they must not be girls if they hate being forced into fake femininity.)
