Inspiring. It's been alarming to watch what's been happening in Canada from across the pond. I hope your movement continues to grow.
You weren't harassed/attacked by the masked rainbow mob? Did you have to keep your venue secret beforehand? Did your protest the next day attract any trouble?
We had no protesters because the venue was kept a very tight secret. Some people were literally on planes not knowing where they were going! 😂 But of course everyone got there safely. The next day we had no trouble aside from a few angry shouty people who were cowards and kept quickly walking.
It was a great weekend. It was very emotional for me to be surrounded by women who believe that real women matter. We might not all agree on exactly how we're going to get where we're going but we all share the same goal. Reality Based Women Unite!
The good work continues as feminists rise. Next event March 21, “Feminists Speak Out” in Vancouver sponsored by the Vancouver Lesbian Collective. Hope to see you there, Eva, and that others can make it. Incredible opportunity to hear Kathleen Stock speak.
It was a wonderfully inspiring night, wasn't it? I didn't even tell my husband the reason for my Toronto trip because I knew he would worry about TRAs getting violent. It went off without a hitch. To be in such a large venue filled with like minded women (and men) and personal heros, yes Eva, that includes you, just blew me away. With the mention of Bill C-63, our efforts will have to continue and we will move forward.
It was a wonderful event. You ladies are all so amazing! I was watching on-line, and worried about any potential crazed activists outside the venue. I'm quite happy to hear they were a no-show. I expect the release of the WPATH files will also put a serious dent in their recruitment.

What a fantastic event! Eva, you were amazing and what a joy to meet April. Her speech was very moving and inspirational.
Thank you Leslie! I'm so glad you were there and it was nice to travel together :)

Well done to you all for bringing everyone together!
Missed this one, but I am glad to see Canada is now making strides. Let's see if we can keep pushing for the tide to turn!
