I was part of the Dyke Separatist collective the Gutter Dykes, who protested Elliott being invited to the West Coast Lesbian Conference, and we talked with Robin Morgan who wrote and said such an excellent response to a man being showcased at a rare Lesbian conference.
So if anyone wants to contact me to ask more about the Lesbian history I know about and how the trans cult invaded and continues to destroy our Lesbian and even women's community, I am available (and please do send my email to anyone who asks, or they could contact me through messages on Facebook.)
It's wonderful to see the early responses you posted, but now even some of those Lesbians have sold out to the men. Most alarming is how the men are re-writing and erasing our Lesbian history with the help of Lesbians. We literally have almost nothing left, and it seems like few notice, like few noticed when the white man identifying as a Lesbian butchered an interracial Lesbian family in my city (Oakland, California) and is now in a women's prison, terrorizing more women.
The latest loss is BALA, the Bay Area Lesbian Archives, started by Lenn Keller and another Lesbian (I'm not sure if she wants to be named since she left after Lenn died), that has become exactly what they were terrified would happen. The current executive director, Kerby Lynch, started posting what looked like welcoming the men of the trans cult, so I contacted them and an intern sent me an insulting email, and then Kerby called me to apologize and assured me that she was dedicated to keeping the Lesbian Archives for and about and by Lesbians. Then they produced a wonderful Lesbian show where she gave an impassioned speech that also sounded like she was dedicated to keeping BALA truly for Lesbians. (I do wonder if part of what is going on is their hoping the Old Lesbians will donate or put them in their will. They were given a house in Oakland for the archives, which likely would be worth a million dollars. An Old Lesbian friend was about to send them $2000 though she does not have much money.)
But now Kerby is openly showcasing and promoting men claiming to be Lesbians, and specifically Mr. Susan Stryker: "The Bay Area Lesbian Archives will co-present an evening with pioneering transgender historian Susan Stryker in conversation with acclaimed filmmaker Cheryl Dunye." I don't know if Kerby is aware of Stryker's attack on me and what else he's done, but how on earth is he a "historian" with so much lying about Lesbians? (There are actual Lesbian historians who could be invited to talk with Cheryl Dunye. I certainly know a lot of our history, but I'm not the only one.) I just wrote to Kerby, telling her that history (and thanking you). Meanwhile, does Cheryl Dunye know who he is and what he's done? (I will try to contact her soon.)
A bit of history about The Lesbian Tide: It was never Radical Feminist, but was more liberal at best and run by Jeanne Cordova who put on the LA conference that showcased Elliott.
