How about recognising the trauma and dangerously low self-esteem so often suffered by kids in the care system? This obsession with "identities" which are frequently recognisable as the result of social contagion and that no longitudinal study has ever shown are a permanent feature of the psyches of those who display them while growing up is surely a diabolical distraction?

Exactly. It’s disgusting. Worst part is how many Indigenous people willingly take part in this because of “2-spirit”; the men get castrated and the women have hysterectomies. Like the TRAs scream “you’re gonna die out!”
